About Robert T. Frey
Robert T. Frey began his career as an associate sales representative at DePuy Orthopedics, a Johnson & Johnson Company located in Charlotte, North Carolina. During his time with the reconstruction, trauma, and biologics industry leader, he helped generate $350,000 in first-year growth within the company’s newly established osteobiologics sales portfolio. In 2003, Robert T. Frey accepted a sales team leader and representative position with DePuy Synthes in Louisville, Kentucky. His responsibilities in this position included customer retention and management of all sales activities and strategic operations.
Following more than 11 years in his role with DePuy Synthes, Mr. Frey, a business administration graduate of the University of Kentucky, was promoted to sales manager, a position which involved oversight of a multi-state territory comprised of approximately $30 million in existing sales. His accomplishments as sales manager included $3 million in territory growth and a 25 percent reduction of inventory, which yielded considerable annual savings for the Johnson & Johnson Company.
